Reviews
‘Resolute sounding and
chocked to the gills
with massive, assertive guitar sounds...dark and edgy,
defying expectation’
Kerrang! - KKK
‘This is five tracks of rocking riff-tastic post-hardcore and well
worth a listen.’
Paul Savage - Punktastic
‘They have taken
a tried and tested formula of slightly metallic rock, filed off all the
rough edges and polished it so you can see your face in it.’

‘Very
catchy.’

‘Fantastic!...
There’s nothing like a little over modulated microphone in a hard rocking
tune, I love that! Just right right right against distortion.’
Adam Curry - Daily Source Code
‘Really,
really good...expansive’
Adam Walton - BBC Radio Wales
‘an EP that sounds massive...
a sound somewhere between Hundred Reasons and
Pearl Jam, it's only a matter of time before the labels
come knocking.’
Nerve Magazine
‘If you like your rock heavy...
There’s no denying the high quality of musicianship
within A Thousand Suns... they are definitely a band
worth checking out.’ Jenny May – Band Weblogs

A Thousand Suns came together in the winter of 2006, the three founding members; Dan, Tom and Joe had previously played together in other bands in the local scene. Even with the creation of a new sound the band were still lacking something. This problem was soon overcome with the addition of Super Gaz who instantly clicked with the band. In the past year they have played all over South Wales, sharing stages with up and coming bands such as Kill The Arcade, 12 Gauge Alliance, Working Class Heroes, Klay and Resonate.
A Thousand Suns recently entered the studio with highly regarded producer Romesh Dodangoda, who has worked with other South Wales heavyweights Kids In Glass Houses, Dopamine and The Blackout. With the band hardly having left the studio the tracks were being played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Wales. The band are currently preparing to launch their debut EP ‘DestroyCreate’with a launch party at the Cardiff Barfly on December 5th.
